This means a pleasant and hassle-free experience for the many business and leisure passengers using the airport. Situated just 10 miles from the West End and Westminster, 6 miles from the financial district and 3 miles from Canary Wharf, it is ideally located in the centre of the City.

Started off with the train down to London, then underground to the stop nearest our hotel. Hotel was lovely if a little out of the way. Had all the basic creature comforts required and was nice and clean. Didn't try the hotel food as we were staying on a room only basis. Went to the london eye on the first evening which was great and madame tussauds on the second day. Pre booked both tickets together online which meant all we had to do was collect them on the door and we got a discount. There were lots of repair works happening on the underground and the docklands light rail, but if the train wasn't running there was always a free replacement bus service so we didn't have too much trouble getting from A to B. Overall a good break.

Visited London for a short break. as always was great. The hotel a little bit far from the centre and reception not all that professional for 4 star! Charged us for breakfast by telling us it was included whilst it was NOT! London city made up for any disappointment. Just great!
